HBCU CONNECT and Microsoft have partnered to offer amazing opportunities to Black Tech Professionals open to new career opportunities! Starting on January 21st, the partnership will host several events each month allowing candidates the opportunity to learn more about Microsoft’s different hiring organizations and participate in interviews after each event.
In 2020, Microsoft held at least 10 such events with HBCU CONNECT which resulted in hundreds of interviews for African American professionals and many confirmed hires after each event.
In the past, events hosted by Microsoft and HBCU CONNECT have been in person at different locations across the country. The event series will be hosted virtual using Microsoft’s Teams technology allowing candidates to log-in from wherever they are to participate in the hiring events.

While most of the opportunities will be at Microsoft’s headquarters in the Seattle, Washington area, there are also opportunities in California, North Carolina, a new location in Atlanta, as well as a growing number of opportunities to work remote!
